Allison Nelson and Tom Bailey established the Samuel and Elizabeth Bailey Fund in honor of their son, Sam, and their daughter, Ellie. The fund represents the family’s aspiration to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families in need of direct assistance from Jewish Family and Children’s Services—today and in the generations to come.
When creating their family’s Named Endowment Fund, Allison and Tom included Sam and Ellie in the decision-making process as part of their intention of practicing tzedakah as a family and nurturing strong values and a lifelong understanding of the community’s needs in their children.
The family chose to dedicate the Samuel & Elizabeth Bailey Fund to support services that lift up children and families in need, with timely, expert care.
