Service as a Family Value

Through the years, Jacqueline and her family have poured their time, energy, and hearts into JFCS. She and her husband, Stephen, have both served on the JFCS Board of Directors. Volunteering has truly been a family affair. Alongside their children, Aislinn and Sam, they’ve packed holiday gift bags, delivered groceries to neighbors in need, and lent helping hands wherever they were most needed. Through her work in the Dream Program, Jacqueline has offered compassion and hope to families and survivors of domestic violence. Her mother is also a JFCS volunteer.

In recent years, Jacqueline has been a key voice on our Public Affairs Committee, championing initiatives to combat antisemitism in schools and advocating for policies that strengthen our community. This past May, she joined the JFCS delegation at JPAC, lobbying in support of ethnic studies bills and other critical legislation.

Leading with Heart and Vision

Passionately supportive of the work JFCS does in our community, as the new president of JFCS’ Board of Directors Jacqueline sees her priorities as promoting mental health, supporting aging adults, and addressing antisemitism. She also is devoted to building the next generation of Jewish leaders.

“We are in an urgent time for our community, and the next few years will bring real challenges for those we serve,” Jacqueline reflects. “I am honored and humbled to be asked to take on this role, and I’m committed to standing alongside our staff, volunteers, and community as we work to meet these challenges head-on.”

Jacqueline has seen firsthand the impact of JFCS’ care, especially when her family turned to the agency during her brother’s illness and after his passing. She says she is extremely proud of the professionalism and quality of services we provide and feels very personally how important it is for JFCS to continue to do this work.

Inspiring Hope for What’s Ahead

“JFCS is exceptional at responding to the needs of our community,” she says. “I’m continually amazed by the breadth of the work we do. My hope is to serve in a way that is both effective and inspiring, as we pursue the goals we’ve set for the next two years.”

With her history of service, her heart for people, and her steadfast belief in JFCS’ mission, Jacqueline steps into her new role ready to lead with both vision and compassion. Our community could not ask for a more devoted advocate for the work ahead.
