May their memories be for a blessing.

Frank Stein and his life partner, Paul May, drove cross-country to San Francisco in the 1960s to seek their fortunes, knowing that they could live their lives more openly as a gay couple out west. In the years that followed they created an incredible life together and became successful businessmen. Growing up from humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, Frank understands firsthand how some families struggle. With a generous grant to JFCS’ Parents Place, he and Paul’s success can now help parents, children, teens, and families get the tools and support they need to be their best. |

Frank Stein and Paul May were honored this year at JFCS’ Fammy Awards Gala:

JFCS’ Parents Place offers child and family counseling, specialized therapies, clinical services, social skills groups, and expert teams to support children so they can overcome obstacles to reach their full potential. The highly experienced staff includes licensed child psychologists, clinical social workers, occupational therapists, and speech therapists who work holistically together.

Much has changed for LGBTQ families since the time Frank and Paul first fell in love and with their generous gift, JFCS’ Parents Place will continue to serve a growing number of families of all kinds throughout the Bay Area each year.

Support for JFCS’ Children’s Services are provided by generous individuals, foundations and businesses. If interested in contributing, please call Barbara Farber at 415-449-3858 or email: [email protected].
