With winds escalating, the Kincade fire spreading, and a PG&E shut off in almost a million households, many in our community are being evacuated and many others are losing power. Many don’t know whether their homes or businesses will remain standing.
Jewish Family and Children’s Services is ensuring that the most vulnerable members of our community are safe during this time. We are partnering closely with other organizations in Marin and Sonoma counties, and are providing financial, practical, and emotional support to those who need it.
If you are in need of assistance you can call JFCS’ on-call number at 415-449-3700.
We continue to encourage everyone in our community to take every precaution and follow evacuation instructions closely. For up to date information on evacuation shelters and other non-emergency resources, please call 211 for an information line. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.
