Spiritual Fitness Toolkit for Designing Our Well-Being
Suffering—physical, psychological, social, and spiritual—is increasing as a result of the pandemic crisis. How do we, as individuals and as a community, go forward when there is no turning back? How can each of us experience well-being, perhaps even for the first time?
Drawing from research and teaching in Medicine, stories from spiritual care, and Jewish tradition, this toolkit is written by Chaplain Bruce Feldstein, MD, BCC and contains exercises, reading, and resources for Spiritual Fitness. Spiritual Fitness is concerned with building practices that increase our capacity for meaning, purpose, and connectedness: essential determinants of well-being. Engaging these practices fills our living with well-being.
