Human Resources Generalist

POSITION SUMMARY:

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 (depending on experience)

Employment Type: full-time, exempt position with benefits

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as one of the first point of contact for employee inquiries and employee relations support

Lead day to day benefits administration, including eligibility, enrollment, and communication of benefit events

Maintain and track compliance with ACA regulations using the look-back measurement method

Ensure compliance with SFHCSO, including reporting, tracking hours, and managing contributions

Lead new hire onboarding and monthly benefits orientation

Administer leaves of absence and manage JFCS’ AbsencePro system

Maintain HRIS data and support benefits and payroll accuracy

Partner on compliance tracking, reporting, and process improvement
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, including hands-on benefits administration for 200+ employees
- Strong knowledge of ACA, SF labor law ordinances, and employment law
- High degree of reliability, professionalism, and discretion
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
