YouthFirst Alumni

You’ll Always Be Part of YouthFirst

Whether you were an Impact Year Leader, Peer Mental Health Advocate, Shmunis Internship Program summer intern, or participated in any other YouthFirst experience, you are part of this community for life. YouthFirst may have been a chapter in your high school years—but your connection doesn’t end there.

As an alum, you can stay involved, reconnect with friends and mentors, and continue living out the Jewish values that shaped your time with us.

You helped shape this community. We hope you’ll continue to be part of it.

Upcoming Alumni Events

August 29
Two events: Marin/SF and San Mateo/Palo Alto (locations TBD)

Join fellow YouthFirst alumni for a morning of hands-on service followed by time to reconnect and catch up. Together, we’ll care for our local shoreline and spend meaningful time in community.

Whether you graduated last year or several years ago, this is a chance to return, reconnect, and continue showing up for causes that matter.

Interested in joining? Please email Deb Massey, Director of Youth Programs, at [email protected].

Internship & Leadership Opportunities

We regularly share internships, leadership roles, and volunteer opportunities that are a great fit for YouthFirst alumni—especially college students and young adults who want experience in Jewish community engagement, mental health advocacy, education, and nonprofit work.

Current Opportunities

Please check back in December for Summer Koret College Internship Positions. We hire college students every summer to help us run the Shmunis Internship Program. Internships are 8 weeks long (June and July) for 20 hours a week.
