The Shupin Social Club offers an array of exciting and engaging group events. From science to art to Bay Area exploration, Club members participate in indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow social experiences, friendships and community.

Crafternoon *On Zoom*

Thursday, May 7, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Enjoy quality time together on a creative Zoom hangout! Whether you’re knitting, drawing, sewing, coloring, or working on digital art, bring your current project and join us for an afternoon of inspiration and fun. Make Space to Grow *On Zoom*

Thursday, May 14, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Join us for a gentle, energizing session to reflect on what you want to grow this spring and summer—and how to make space for it. We’ll start with a short guided reflection, then shift into a quick, doable decluttering project you can tackle in real time, and end with sharing!

Come prepared with something small to tidy or clean—maybe a drawer, a backpack, a stack of papers, or a corner of your space. By the end, you’ll have a clearer mind, a lighter space, and a few intentions to carry forward. RSVP to Make Space to Grow.

Pre-Shavuot Cheesecake and Story Circle with RGP *In Person*

Join us for a warm and meaningful Shavuot celebration with residents from Rhoda Goldman Plaza. Together, we’ll honor the traditions of the holiday by enjoying classic foods like cheesecake and other cheese-based treats. We’ll also practice the tradition of learning and sharing Torah by gathering in community to exchange words of wisdom. Step outside for a refreshing virtual stroll where we’ll connect on Zoom while taking individual walks in our own neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll take turns turning on our cameras to share scenic views and everyday discoveries with the group. Guide Dog Puppy Social *In Person*

Join us for a Guide Dog Puppy Social where we’ll learn about guide dogs and the training process that prepares them for life-changing work. We’ll also get to meet some of the puppies in training—yes, there will be time to pet them too!
