The Shupin Social Club offers an array of exciting and engaging group events. From science to art to Bay Area exploration, Club members participate in indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow social experiences, friendships and community.

Purim Unmasked *In Person*

Monday, March 2, 6:00– 8:00pm
Purim Unmasked invites you into a night where tradition and celebration collide. Join us on Purim for an experience filled with spirit, surprises, joyful connection, costumes, and a festive meal as we come together to mark the holiday in a whole new way. Crafternoon *On Zoom*

Thursday, March 5, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Enjoy quality time together on a creative Zoom hangout! Whether you’re knitting, drawing, sewing, coloring, or working on digital art, bring your current project and join us for an afternoon of inspiration and fun. Marvelous Museum of Yesteryear *In Person*

Monday, March 9, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Join us for a delightful outing as we meet at a museum to step back in time together! We’ll explore fascinating interactive artifacts that bring history to life while sparking conversation and curiosity along the way. Crossing the Aegean *In Person*

Monday, March 16, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Volunteer Avrah will share her meaningful recent experience volunteering with refugees in Greece. Avrah will speak about the people she met, the ways she helped, and what she learned along the way. Petals & Playlists *On Zoom*

Thursday, March 19, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Celebrate the freshness of spring as we create a collaborative playlist inspired by blossoming flowers, fresh greenery, warmer days, and adorable baby animals. Yiddish Folk Music with RGP *In Person*

Monday, March 23, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Enjoy a heartwarming afternoon of music and connection as we welcome the Zingeray Ensemble of the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco. Together with residents of Rhoda Goldman Plaza, we’ll share in this delightful intergenerational gathering filled with song, smiles, and spirit. Steps & Vignettes *On Zoom*

Step outside and join us for a refreshing virtual stroll where we’ll connect on Zoom while taking individual walks in our own neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll take turns turning on our cameras from interesting spots to share scenic views and everyday discoveries with the group. Slice & Spice *In Person*

Join us for a flavorful and hands-on experience led by special guest Paul, who will guide the group through essential knife skills and demonstrate how to make fresh, delicious pico de gallo. After creating our snack together, we’ll enjoy it with beverages while hearing about Paul’s professional journey and experiences.
