The Shupin Social Club offers an array of exciting and engaging group events. From science to art to Bay Area exploration, Club members participate in indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow social experiences, friendships and community.

Creature Feature *On Zoom*

Thursday, March 12, 3:00 – 4:00pm. 
Join us online for a gathering filled with fun animal trivia! Test your knowledge, learn surprising facts, and enjoy connecting with friends from the comfort of home. RSVP to Creature Feature. 

Crossing the Aegean *In Person*

Monday, March 16, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Volunteer Avrah will share her meaningful recent experience volunteering with refugees in Greece. Avrah will speak about the people she met, the ways she helped, and what she learned along the way. Together, we’ll take part in a hands-on activity inspired by her journey and enjoy a small snack as we reflect and connect. Deadline to RSVP is Monday, March 9. RSVP to Crossing the Aegean. 

Petals & Playlists *On Zoom*

Thursday, March 19, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Celebrate the freshness of spring as we create a collaborative playlist inspired by blossoming flowers, fresh greenery, warmer days, and adorable baby animals. Together, we’ll share song ideas that capture the joy and renewal of the season. Come add your musical petals and help our playlist blossom! RSVP to Petals & Playlists. 

Yiddish Folk Music with RGP *In Person*

Monday, March 23, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Enjoy a heartwarming afternoon of music and connection as we welcome the Zingeray Ensemble of the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco. Together with residents of Rhoda Goldman Plaza, we’ll share in this delightful intergenerational gathering filled with song, smiles, and spirit. Steps & Vignettes *On Zoom*

Thursday, March 26, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Step outside and join us for a refreshing virtual stroll where we’ll connect on Zoom while taking individual walks in our own neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll take turns turning on our cameras from interesting spots to share scenic views and everyday discoveries with the group. It’s a fun way to get moving, enjoy the outdoors, and explore together—no matter where we are! RSVP to Steps & Vignettes.

Slice & Spice *In Person*

Monday, March 30, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Join us for a flavorful and hands-on experience led by special guest Paul, who will guide the group through essential knife skills and demonstrate how to make fresh, delicious pico de gallo. After creating our snack together, we’ll enjoy it with beverages while hearing about Paul’s professional journey and experiences.
