The Shupin Social Club offers an array of exciting and engaging group events. From science to art to Bay Area exploration, Club members participate in indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow social experiences, friendships and community.

Upcoming Events
Steps & Vignettes *On Zoom*
Thursday, June 4, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Step outside for a refreshing virtual stroll where we’ll connect on Zoom while taking individual walks in our own neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll take turns turning on our cameras to share scenic views and everyday discoveries with the group. Rainbow Alliance Presents Drag at the Museum *In Person*

Guide Dog Puppy Social *In Person*
Monday, June 8, 6:30 – 8:00pm
Join us for a Guide Dog Puppy Social where we’ll learn about guide dogs and the training process that prepares them for life-changing work. We’ll also get to meet some of the puppies in training—yes, there will be time to pet them too! Shupin Jeopardy *On Zoom*
Thursday, June 11, 3:00 – 4:00pm
Jump onto Zoom for a fun and interactive Jeopardy-style game featuring trivia all about our own community members! We’ll enjoy friendly competition as we answer questions that help us learn more about one another in a clear and welcoming format. It’s a great chance to connect, share laughs, and celebrate our community together.

Mix & Match: Dating and Social Mixer, Ages 35 – 55 *In Person*

Mix and Match, a fun and welcoming dating and social mixer is back—this time for people ages 35 –55. This is a relaxed opportunity to meet new people, spark conversations, and expand your social circle in a supportive and friendly setting. Come enjoy an evening of conversations and possibility. Awe Walk *In Person*
Monday, June 22, 6:30 – 8:00pm
The social club is going on an Awe Walk! We will move together through our surroundings, slowing down to take in the beauty all around us. We’ll notice the sights, sounds, smells, and sensations along the way, making space to fully appreciate the present moment. This is a chance to reconnect with wonder in the everyday and share a mindful experience together.

On this collaborative Zoom session we’ll build a shared summer playlist, adding songs that capture the energy, memories, and moods of the season. Come prepared to contribute favorites, discover new music, and shape a collective soundtrack for summer.

Join our talented volunteer Awet for a fun basketball session featuring passing and shooting drills with some stretching and warming up thrown in. All experience levels are welcome—just come ready to move your body and have a great time!

Enjoy quality time together on a creative Zoom hangout! Whether you’re knitting, drawing, sewing, coloring, or working on digital art, bring your current project and join us for an afternoon of inspiration and fun. Share your progress, chat about your craft, and connect with fellow creators. We can’t wait to spend the crafternoon together!
