Palliative Care Retreat: Facing the Mirror of Mortality

Menlo Park

May 26, 2017 to May 28, 2017

Compassion and Presence in Our Living & Dying

A weekend workshop for those willing to explore the edges of living and dying, with Jami Sieber, world renowned composer and cellist and Redwing Keyssar, RN, Author and Director of JFCS’ Palliative Care program.

“No one gets out of here alive!”, but we do have choices about how we live fully and powerfully throughout our lives – even through the journeys of illness and dying. As we contemplate our impermanence, we may better serve our friends, our loved ones, and ultimately ourselves when we are faced with dying. Throughout the weekend we will offer music, mindfulness, stories, guided imagery, and energy work to facilitate the unfolding of our collective wisdom.

Where: Vallombrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park, CA
When: Fri., May 26, 6:00 pm – Sun., May 28, 1:00 pm
Cost: $725 includes lodging, food, & workshop fees (Early Bird Special: $650 if registered before March 1, 2017).

CEU’s available!

All proceeds from this event go to supporting the JFCS Palliative Care program.

Registration deadline is May 10, 2017. To register, please email Redwing Keyssar at RedwingK@jfcs.org
