Caregivers: Seniors At Home (San Francisco)
Caregivers provide compassionate support and comprehensive services to help seniors live safe, healthy, and independent lives in their own homes.
Who Are We?
Seniors At Home is a division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.
As a problem-solving center for residents of San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties, Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) is a lifeline for children, families, and older adults facing personal crises and challenges. We have over 40 programs, including home care for seniors, therapy for children, youth volunteer programs, services for people with disabilities, and so much more.
Who Are You?
- Have a minimum of 12 months of home care experience or CNA/CHHA certification
- Have reliable transportation, driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Can provide non-medical home care services
- Are self-directing with the ability to work independently
- Have the ability to work well with others, including a Health Care Team
- Have patience with and empathy for the ill, injured, frail, and those with disabilities
- Are flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
- Demonstrates good observational skills and sound judgment
- Are a local candidate
- Have the COVID-19 vaccination card by date of hire (JFCS will provide reasonable accommodations to those individuals who are unable to be vaccinated for COVID-19 consistent with federal, state, and local law)
