Summer IMPACT (Camp)

Are you looking for something fun AND meaningful to do this summer? Summer IMPACT is a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services designed for youth entering grades 6 - 8. This two-week summer camp program teaches students about social issues that affect our community and how JFCS and other social service agencies address these needs.

Students have fun, make new friends, and learn about community service from a Jewish perspective. Activities include participating in a community treasure hunt, visiting the Marin Food Bank, serving food to the homeless at St. Anthony’s, working in a preschool, preparing a Shabbat luncheon for Holocaust survivors ... and more.

Students can participate in Summer IMPACT as their B’nai Mitzvah volunteer project and complete their community service requirement. We want you to make an IMPACT!

Summer Impact 2013 will run Monday, August 5 – Friday, August 16. Applications are now available. To request an application, please contact Alli Darrow at AlliD@jfcs.org.
