While JFCS works directly with people with disabilities and their families to ensure that they receive the best care possible, we also represent them behind the scenes, advocating on their behalf with elected officials and others in the public sector. JFCS’ Public Policy Committee stays abreast of proposed laws and policies that affect our clients and champions their interests in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Washington, D.C.

In addition, JFCS also provides information and tools to persons with disabilities so that they can advocate for themselves.
