University Fellowship

In the spring of 2013, the JFCS Holocaust Center will accept five students enrolled in universities from throughout Northern California for the University Fellowship. Fellows will take part in an 16-month course of study involving quarterly seminars, guided independent research in the Tauber Holocaust Library and Archives, and teaching the history of the Holocaust in their communities.

The Rozsi and Jeno Zisovich Jewish Studies Scholarship Fund will support these fellows wishing to study Holocaust history and education at an advanced level. Throughout the course, fellows will participate in seminars taught by faculty from the University Advisory Council, which is comprised of esteemed academics in the field of Holocaust History and Jewish Studies.

At the completion of their coursework, fellows will be awarded a research stipend of $2,000 to pursue original research with primary source material onsite at related institutions domestically and abroad.

The University Fellowship is open to all undergraduate and graduate students throughout Northern California. Applications will open in September 2012.
