The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Family Project is a program of Jewish Family and Children's Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma counties.

JFCS has an ongoing commitment to the LGBT community:

  • JFCS has assisted gay and lesbian couples to adopt babies in a bias-free environment
  • JFCS helped gay and bisexual men access the social services they needed during the years when their community was most affected by the AIDS epidemic.
  • Through its Parents Place Family Resource Center, JFCS has provided support groups for single lesbian mothers and same-gender couples.
  • In many JFCS sites, therapeutic services are provided by staff with special knowledge of and ties to the LGBT community.
  • And now, to continue and further enhance its commitment, JFCS has developed the LGBT Family Services.

LGBT Family Services are a program of Jewish Family and Children's Services, The Miriam Schultz Grunfeld Professional Building, 2150 Post Street, San Francisco, CA 94115.
