From one-to-one crisis intervention and counseling to support groups for children and parents, we have a full range of programs to support you and your children. Post-adoption services are free of charge thanks to a grant from the California Department of Social Services. RSVP is required for all events. Please contact Post-Adoption Services Coordinator Liz Jimenez at 707-303-1509.
Adoptive Parents Support Groups
We continue to offer free support and educational groups to address the needs of adoptive parents and their children. The parent groups provide professional support and insight from other parents’ experiences. The children’s groups create a safe place to explore feelings and concerns about birth parents and the experience of being adopted. Free trainings are also available for parents and professionals in topics related to adoption issues and concerns.
