Karen Friedland-Brown has been a parent educator for ten years; specializing in guiding parents of young children in areas such as limit setting, sleep issues, potty training, and social-emotional development. She also has expertise in helping couples parent together effectively and build healthy families. She teaches workshops, classes, and sees parents individually. She is the former director of the Parent Education and Consultation Program at The Children?s Health Council in Palo Alto and a contributor to the revised edition of Parentmaking: A Practical Handbook for Teaching Parents.
