Biography Marin-based Marion Weinreb, the child of Holocaust survivors and a consultant for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, is a firm believer in "giving back." She does this in a variety of ways, including through her Named Continuity Funds at JFCS. The Joseph Teichman Memorial Fund, Marion's second Fund and created in December 1996, memorializes her beloved uncle, a Polish refugee whose constant approach to life was to help others. Marion remembers him as a "mensch" who was always kind and considerate, and who set a positive example for his young niece through his everyday actions, such as volunteering as a crossing guard at the local school. Through this Fund, Joseph Teichman's memory lives on and perpetuates his own legacy of compassion and service to others. Fund Creator Marion Weinreb Related Web Pages |
