	Purpose of the Fund The Kay Family Marin Outreach Fund was established to increase the visibility of Jewish Family and Children's Services in Marin County so that local residents are aware of the wide range of services our agency offers. Biography JFCS Board member Barbara Kay is also co-chairing JFCS' Marin Expansion Project. She notes that, although JFCS has been a presence in the county for over 20 years, many people are still unaware of our agency and its importance to the community, and often confuse JFCS with other organizations. Through the Kay Family Marin Outreach Fund she hopes to address these issues and make JFCS in Marin a "household word." She and Barry, along with their daughters, created their second JFCS Named Continuity Fund to honor the JFCS staff and volunteers -- past, present and future -- who, by sharing their expertise and caring and by meeting continually changing needs, have greatly improved the quality of life within the Marin community.
